The high school hockey season officially starts in November - look for an email in a few weeks with tryout dates and Varsity & JV schedules for practices and games for the regular season (November through March). In the meantime, here's what you need to know about what's happening for Coffman Hockey between now and November. 

August 19 (Monday) 6-8 pm Dublin Chiller Coffman Locker Room 

• Required jersey/shell/jacket fitting for all incoming players (but also for anyone who needs replacement uniforms)
• Uniform package cost is $296 & includes:
• Home & Away Jerseys
• Home & Away Socks
• Rocks Hockey Pant Shell
• Rocks Hockey Travel Jacket
• New this year, student athletes will be selecting a Coffman Hockey number which will be theirs for their remaining years at Coffman. The Varsity and JV teams wear the same uniform, so they can be used for the rest of the player’s years at Coffman. 
• Recommend bringing hockey equipment for proper sizing
• Come by any time between 6 and 8 pm 
• I’ll be there, along with a rep from Ares Sportswear

• Coffman Hockey enjoys August off 
• Program skates (for incoming and returning Coffman Hockey players only) will start up again Wednesdays in September & Tuesdays and Thursdays in October, times TBD 
• October skates will lead into tryout week at the end of October

• Not mandatory but highly recommended
• Tuesdays & Thursday 4 pm - 5 pm through September and October
• Starts Tuesday August 13

• 4:40 pm Coffman JV vs Westerville Hockey Club JV
• 7:20 pm Coffman Varsity vs Westerville Hockey Club Varsity

November 8th @ Hobart Arena

• 4:15 pm Coffman JV vs Troy HS JV
• 6:00 pm Coffman Varsity vs Troy HS Varsity

• Neck laceration protection is now mandatory across the hockey universe. Make sure you have an approved neck guard. Check the USA Hockey website for details on approved types. There are no exceptions to this new policy.
